# Instagram Whitelisting Not Working

**Description**
Whitelisting allows brands to run ads from a creator’s Instagram account.
**Common Issues**
* Status stuck on pending
* Creator never receives DM
* Ads can’t be launched
**Why This Happens**
* Creator didn’t connect Instagram
* DM request missed
* Wrong Instagram account connected
**How to Fix It**
1. Creator reconnects Instagram
2. Check message requests in Instagram
3. Refresh Trybe dashboard
4. Confirm status shows active
